Fire Magic Legacy Drop-In Grill Insulating Liner & Trim Kit – 3200-50, 3200-60 & 3220-50

Protect combustible outdoor-kitchen construction around select Fire Magic Legacy grills with the Fire Magic Deluxe Drop-In Insulating Liner system. These components are designed for legacy Deluxe Classic and Deluxe Gourmet drop-in grill installations where additional thermal protection is required between the cooking appliance and combustible enclosure materials. Fire Magic continues to provide installation documentation for both Deluxe Drop-In grills and their insulating liners. 

The 3200-50 insulating liner is designed specifically for the Deluxe Classic Drop-In Grill. Fire Magic's current specifications call for a liner opening of 28-1/2" W x 23-5/8" D x 14" H. The liner uses six insulating panels around the sides, front, rear, and bottom of the grill and requires support beneath the bottom insulating panels. 

For installations requiring a finished upper edge, select 3200-60, the matching trim kit for the Deluxe Classic Drop-In insulating-liner installation. The trim panel is a separate component from the 3200-50 insulating liner; it should therefore remain its own Shopify variant rather than being described as included with the liner. 

The 3220-50 is the insulating liner for the larger Deluxe Gourmet Drop-In Grill. Fire Magic's current guide specifies an opening of 31-3/8" W x 19-5/8" D x 19" H.

The manufacturer's installation instructions also identify the actual countertop opening inside the insulating assembly as approximately 24-1/4" x 19-1/4" for the grill itself. Do not confuse this with the larger 28-1/2" x 23-5/8" x 14" cabinet opening required for the insulating liner. 

3200-60 — DCT (Trim Kit)

This is the matching trim panel/kit, not another insulating liner.

The 3200-60 is designed for use with the 3200-50 Deluxe Classic Drop-In insulating liner. Fire Magic's liner instructions describe the trim panel as an available component for countertops that are not heat resistant; it helps retain the insulating panels and covers their upper edges. 

Important: Do not describe 3200-60 as a complete insulating liner. It is the trim kit accessory.

3220-50 — DCT (Deluxe Gourmet Drop-in Grill)

Designed for the Fire Magic Deluxe Gourmet Drop-In Grill.

Current Fire Magic liner opening:

• Width: 31-3/8"
• Depth: 19-5/8"
• Height: 19"
• Bottom insulating panels require appropriate support

Important Installation Note

Unlike the newer Fire Magic built-in liners that use hanger-supported construction, these drop-in insulating liners require support for the bottom insulating panels below the countertop surface. This distinction should remain in the product description to prevent customers from assuming installation is the same as the newer 52-series liners.
