This fire pit glass wind guard is great for breezy nights and provides an extra protective barrier to keep you and your family safe. Constructed from standard 3/16" tempered glass, this lightweight and economical wind guard is perfect for small and medium sized backyard fire pits. For larger burners, we recommend choosing a wind guard with thicker 3/8" or 1/2" glass.

Consider adding non-skid rubber feet to the bottom clamps to keep your wind guard firmly in place. These rubber feet slightly raise the glass wind guard, which is ideal for rough or uneven stone tabletops. They are also a great choice for delicate, easy-to-scratch surfaces.

How to choose the correct wind guard size for your fire pit

The most important thing to note is that the wind guard has to be bigger than the fire pit opening. You DO NOT want your glass wind guard to sit in the interior of the burner pan, as they’re not designed to be directly in the fire. We recommend using dimensions that extend 2 inches beyond your fire pit opening on each size. If your tabletop is smooth and level, it can be as close as 1 inch away, but 2 inches is a very good rule of thumb to follow.
